David L. Beecher has been with Mid-Atlantic Valuation Group since January 2008.

Mr. Beecher graduated from Penn State in 1980 with a B.S. degree in microbiology. He began is real estate career in Mesa, AZ in 1986.

A native of York, PA, he returned to York in 1987, and for the next twenty years worked as a project manager for several regional real estate development companies. During that time he he specialized in urban real estate development. He has used different sources of financing on projects, including Community Development Block Grants, Tax-Exempt Bonds, commercial mortgage financing, HUD 221 d-4 and others. He has raised equity by the sale of Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Historic Tax Credits and Neighborhood Assistance Program Tax Credits. Most of the urban projects were multi-family.

He has also developed office condominiums, medical office condominiums, single-family housing and retail centers.

He is a former Chairman of the York City Planning Commission, and is on the Board of Directors of the York Area Development Corporation, a non-profit provider of affordable rental housing.
